Michael Liu is an associate at the Los Angeles office of Bonne, Bridges, Mueller, O'Keefe, and Nichols. He graduated from Whittier Law School in May of 2013 with a Business Law certificate. While in law school, he was a summer associate in Nanjing, China for one of the largest China-based law firms in the world. Prior to joining Bonne, Bridges, Mueller, O'Keefe, and Nichols, Michael was the general counsel for a tech company based in the Silicon Valley. Prior to that, he practiced at a civil litigation firm where he specialized in commercial litigation and transactional matters for businesses. Michael also has extensive experience counseling health care providers on day-to-day legal and regulatory matters, as well as negotiating and executing the purchase or sale of a medical practice.
Michael graduated from the University of the Pacific earning his B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Business Law, International Business, and Business Management. While at the University of the Pacific, he interned with the San Joaquin County Public Defender's Office. While in high school, Michael spent a summer studying medical sciences at Cambridge University, Corpus Christi College in Cambridge, England.
Michael was admitted to practice law in 2013 in all California State Courts and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
Michael is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is a fervent fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the San Francisco Giants.
