Tom O’Neil, a Bonne Bridges shareholder, has extensive experience in medical malpractice and professional negligence claims including dental and legal malpractice. He has experience in handling product liability and employment law cases as well as administrative law matters and representing physicians and other health care providers before licensing boards.
Through his years of trial work involving the defense of medical malpractice (representing hospitals, physicians, and other health care practitioners) and professional negligence claims, Tom O’Neil has excelled at all aspects of litigation, from discovery through trial and settlement negotiations. Tom has served as an arbitrator in the Los Angeles County Superior Courts and has experience as a settlement officer in the Los Angeles County Superior Court Crash Settlement Conference Program. He has lectured extensively to hospital and physician groups on medical-legal topics.
Tom is a cum laude graduate of Cal State Northridge and he obtained his law degree from Pepperdine University where he was a member of the Law Review and of Phi Delta Phi, Legal Honor Society.
He is a member of the California Medical-Legal Committee and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel. He has been rated as AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible peer review rating in legal ability and ethical standards.
