Peter is regarded as a California icon in administrative, licensing and regulatory matters. He has defended health care professionals in every area of specialty and practice, including physicians, nurses, physician’s assistants, dentists, therapists, chiropractors, and pharmacists. His defense experience includes fighting licensing and disciplinary actions brought by regulating organizations including the Medical Board of California, the Board of Registered Nursing, and the Dental Board of California. He also successfully represents health care professionals in actions brought by peer review committees and professional societies. Peter represents and counsels hospital medical staffs and has served as a hearing officer in medical staff matters.
He has received numerous honors and awards for his expertise in administrative law, including being recognized as a Super Lawyer for more than 18 years, beginning in 2004. Peter served as Vice President of the California Academy of Attorneys for Health Care Professionals and President of the Wilshire Bar Association.
Peter is a member of the State Bar of California, the California Academy of Attorneys for Health Care Professionals, the Wilshire Bar Association, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Los Angeles County Bar.
A sought-after speaker in his field, he has addressed physicians at a variety of hospitals and schools, including UCLA, USC, Loyola Law School, and Southwestern Law School.
Prior to working at Bonne Bridges, Peter defended and prosecuted civil trials with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles.

Peter is married and has two children. He enjoys traveling, baseball, tennis, and golf.
Education
Peter received his undergraduate degree from Yale College. He received a graduate degree in philosophy from Stanford University, while obtaining his law degree from Stanford Law school.
